In Loving Memory Of My Firstborn, A Son,~John Mark~
August 1st,2000~August 2nd,2000
Psalm 139
For the choir director: A psalm of David.
1 O LORD, you have examined my heart
      and know everything about me.
2 You know when I sit down or stand up.
You know my every thought when far away.

3 You chart the path ahead of me
and tell me where to stop and rest.
Every moment you know where I am.

4 You know what I am going to say
even before I say it, LORD.

5 You both precede and follow me.
You place your hand of blessing on my head.

6 Such knowledge is too wonderful for me,
too great for me to know!

7 I can never escape from your spirit!
I can never get away from your presence!

    8 If I go up to heaven, you are there;
if I go down to the place of the dead, you are there.

9 If I ride the wings of the morning,
if I dwell by the farthest oceans,

10 even there your hand will guide me,
and your strength will support me.

11 I could ask the darkness to hide me
and the light around me to become night--

12 but even in darkness I cannot hide from you. To you the night shines as bright as day.
Darkness and light are both alike to you.

13 You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body
and knit me together in my mother's womb.

14 Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex!
Your workmanship is marvelous--and how well I know it.

15 You watched me as I was being formed in utter seclusion,
as I was woven together in the dark of the womb.

16 You saw me before I was born.
Every day of my life was recorded in your book. Every moment was laid out
before a single day had passed.

17 How precious are your thoughts about me, O God!
      They are innumerable!

    18 I can't even count them;
they outnumber the grains of sand! And when I wake up in the morning,
      you are still with me!

"While the child was still alive, I fasted and wept; for I said, 'Who knows, the Lord may be gracious to me, that the child may live.' But now he has died; why should I fast? Can I bring him back again? I shall go to him, but he will not return to me." (II Samuel 12:15-23).

I am thankful that I am Saved by the Precious Blood of Jesus Christ. I am assured of my eternal life with HIM...and I have the Hope and Comfort in Knowing that I will SEE and BE WITH my first born son, John Mark AGAIN

(((oh how i love you,and miss you more than words could ever express, and my heart aches and grieves for you so much my precious, precious son )))

~SOON.
II Corinthians 5:1-9 For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed upon with our house which is from heaven: If so be that being clothed we shall not be found naked. For we that are in this tabernacle do groan, being burdened; but clothed upon, that mortality might be swallowed up of life, Now he that hath wrought us for the selfsame thing is God, who also hath given unto us the earnest of the Spirit. Therefore we are always confident, knowing that,

whilst we are at home in the body,

we are absent from the Lord:

(For we walk by faith, not by sight:) We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be

ABSENT FROM THE BODY,
and to be
PRESENT WITH THE LORD.

Wherefore we labour,

that whether present or absent,

we may be accepted of him.

I Thessalonians 4:13-18 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them

which are asleep,

that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again,

even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.

For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that

we which are ALIVE and REMAIN unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.

For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the

DEAD IN CHRIST SHALL RISE FIRST:

THEN WE WHICH ARE ALIVE AND REMAIN shall be CAUGHT UP (raptured) together with them

in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. WHEREFORE COMFORT ONE ANOTHER WITH THESE WORDS.
