The RAPTURE(bodily removal from this earth)of the true followers of Christ-those indwelt by the Holy Spirit(Born Again-Saved), will occur before the 'Second Coming of Christ'.
After the rapture happens, there will be a period of 7 years
of tribulation upon this earth.The basic reason for the Tribulation is so that transgression worldwide shall fall and not rise again. Its purpose is to make an end of wickedness.The second purpose of the Tribulation is to bring about a worldwide revival-for those that will turn to The Christ-Messiah-Jesus~Yeshua)The third purpose of the Tribulation is to break the power or the stubborn will of the Jewish nation.
God Loves Israel..and is a jealous God,and all of them will now know that Jesus-IS the Messiah.
For those people left behind,a choice will have to be made: either choose to follow Christ, or the new world leader, who will be the AntiChrist.The Bible says that he will be a political genius capable of signs and wonders, who will fool many into thinking that only he can unite the world in peace,and to accept his 'One World Order'. His False Prophet(out of Papal Rome)will be working to unite the world into ONE religion-embracing all faiths-a religion of tolerance and NOT truth--one that will NOT proclaim that 'Jesus is the Only Way'.
The tribulation will begin when this man of sin (The AC),signs a 7 year peace deal with Israel.By accepting his 'mark'-on the right hand or forehead--you pledge allegiance to him-and without it you can't buy or sell(it will be a cashless society according to the bible) The 'mark' will most likely be a implantable 'chip'. You would be better off dying and following the True Christ at this time (yes,there is a second chance), than to receive this mark and damn your soul to hell. At the end of 7 years, Jesus will physically come back down to earth and fight the battle of Armageddon ( Valley of Megiddo,Israel) The raptured saints that have gone on before, will be with Him! He will throw the Antichrist-satan incarnate, and His False Prophet,into the Lake of Fire forever.

You don't have to 'clean up' before you accept Him-come as you are-and by the power of His Holy Spirit that He will send to DWELL in you,you will change,and grow in Him day by day,you'll be forgiven and assured of where you'll spend eternity. It is a gift He is willing to give you. This is LOVE-God is not willing that any perish-but sent His Son, so that you could have eternal life-and live in righteousness, with Him.
This world wants you to serve yourself,'be all you can be--look out for #1!"-for your own glory, and not for God's.We were not created to worship the creation,we are called to worship and serve the CREATOR. The Bible, His WORD,will teach you how.The world (and Satan who now has power in it-(that God allows)will try to tempt you into following your own way-but the Bible says that Your own way will lead you to death. Don't be deceived.
Sin=lawlessnss...the breaking of God's Commandments. Example: one lie makes a person a liar,and because God is Good,and Righteous, and JUST-He will punish all murderer's,thieves (have you ever stolen even one 'small' thing?),adulterers,liars etc,in a place of darkness and separation from God,called Hell. But by asking forgiveness today and accepting Christ's gift of pardon, by the blood He shed on the cross,you too,can be reconciled to GOD.
He will help you live a new life-HE will change you--by His power. You're not even guaranteed tomorrow-please deal with your sin-be reconciled to God,repent of your sins- before it's too late. John 14:6 makes it very clear, that Jesus is the only way to God--please see the '4 steps to God' at the top of the home page of STL.
You see, nothing we can do can 'earn' our way into heaven..He (Jesus)did all the work-finished it on the Cross-but you must place your Faith and Trust in Him alone. Once you do this, You will have power over sin-you will not be perfect-you will still battle with sin, but you will be FORGIVEN for sins PAST, PRESENT AND FUTURE. Jesus Can Take You to Heaven..no one else or other 'god' can...HE is the ONLY WAY. The Bible makes that very clear! Be ready and watching when He comes for His true followers.
